Built in 2000 and 2001, the housing estate comprises 477 flats – predominantly two- to four-room flats – and a total of 520 parking spaces for residents and visitors, as well as a retirement home. It thus ensures a good mix of social backgrounds within the neighbourhood.

The Brandenburg municipality of Blankenfelde-Mahlow is known worldwide despite its modest size – it is home to Rolls-Royce’s German operations. Anyone who thinks of a hike when they hear the term ‘Fuchsberg’ will probably be disappointed by the eponymous hill, which is merely three metres high. With its many lakes and woods, however, the area surrounding the housing estate – which comprises 477 flats – nevertheless offers an attractive, nature-oriented living environment with an almost village-like character.
